New Tenant
We just moved in and overall we love this place.. the size for the price compared to many other places we looked at is amazing ... especially with today's economy. We were able to cancel our gym memberships because of the 24 hr gym with large cardio and weight lifting areas on property that has a indoor pool and outdoor pool for summer, not to mention the racket ball and tennis courts. In the gym area are Men and Women's locker rooms with showers and a sauna in each. There is even a rec room with a pool table, large screen tv, mini kitchen and plenty of space/seating to host guests or just hang out. As dog owners we had a hard time finding a dog friendly place so when we found out they welcome dogs we were very happy, they have dog stations located through out the property and they even have a dog park. The parking lots are well lit and the buildings are all locked with Key entry only, this makes me feel safer as a female. Elevators are in the buildings which provides easy access for those who live on the upper levels plus large laundry rooms in each building and even small storage areas. We worked with Stephanie and Maria and they were both welcoming, professional and extremely accommodating. the process from our tour all the way to getting our keys was very simple. We were even provided a check list with all of the utility and insurance companies along with their rep's contact info to have everything turned on and enrolled in before move in. There is also a way to pay our rent online and even split the cost between separate bank accounts for those who need it. I want to give a thanks to the organization and its staff for everything. Mixed Feelings: Beautiful Property w/Some Major Issues
I've been living here since September 2024 and my experience has been a mix of highs and lows. On the positive side, the ... buildings are beautiful and well-maintained, and the property upkeep is consistently excellent. The front office and maintenance staff are friendly and maintenance is always willing to help. The amenities, especially the gym, are a great addition, and having everything included in one fixed price is incredibly convenient. However, there are several significant downsides that have impacted my overall satisfaction. The heat and hot water go out frequently, which is a major inconvenience. The paint used in the apartments is of poor quality and gets marked up very easily. The walls are thin, so noise from neighbors is a constant issue. Additionally, there is dog poop and pee everywhere, which is unpleasant. The smell of cigarette and weed smoke is pervasive, even inside my apartment, and despite the front office being very nice, they haven't done anything to address these problems. The overall quality of life at Bigelow Commons is on a high level.The unique property is well maintained .This is a 1920's ... carpet mill with world recognition converted to one of a kind units in 1984 ;the entire staff works on a top professional level.A GREAT PLACE!!!!
